Am I a geek or not? The Meetup site doesn't give much space to write anything. Here is further evaluation of the question "Are you a Geek?".

Qualifications:
- I spent 5 and a half years earning a Ph.D. in Chemistry!
- I earned a minor in Computer Science in college.
- I often read Slashdot and NewScientist.com in my free time.
- I find xkcd hilarious.
- I enjoy watching Mythbusters.
- |  |</\/0\/\/ 1337.
- I've run Linux as my main OS on my laptop before.
- During one winter break in college I borrowed an introductory EE textbook and read the entire thing to see if I'd be interested in the subject (turned out... no).
- I was a huge gamer in high school, and idolized Thresh.
- I've always been a huge fan of NASA.
- I found the movies Ghost In The Shell and The Matrix trilogy philosophically stimulating.
- And finally, I play board games with the Louisville Boardgames meetup group! :-D

Disqualifications:
- I am no good at fixing computers (or any electronics).
- I am no longer a gamer.
- I don't read fantasy, sci-fi, or comic books.
- I have never played D&D.
- I don't do cosplay.
